The new SRAM-RED® chain was developed from scratch. The unique shape of the chain links allows for a narrower and lighter chain that is nevertheless more stable and offers more space between the outer plates of the chain and the sprockets on both sides. As a result, the chain runs quieter and shifts faster and more precisely.
